Cracker part 2

I have read Cracker some more this week. This book has gotten even better as you go on. The books setting shifts from the U.S to Vietnam. It is really engaging now because it talks about all the missions that Cracker and he master Rick go on. Vietnam is getting worse in worse.
There have been more people dying from explosions and enemy fire. Will Cracker and Rick die?

I think every one that like war books or dogs needs to read this book. this book is even more engaging then before. It is very suspenseful. It also has a taste of Vietnam in it. The author uses lots of details. This helps describe the setting even better. I like it because it is very realistic and this could of happen in Vietnam. This is a very good book to read.

This week I have read the book Cracker. This book is about a German Shepherd named cracker. She belongs to a boy named Willy. Willy and cracker do everything together. They are best friends. Since the U.S got in the Vietnam war there has been a demand for dogs. Will Cracker and Willy be separated?

This book is a really good book. I can also connect to it because I had a German Shepherd. I also like this book because it is very engaging and it is hard to put the book down. This is a war book so it has a lot of action in it. This book also talks about how it was and what dogs did in the Vietnam war. I think this would be a good book for people who like animals or even war books.

Always a Catch: Patrick Lantry

      This week I was reading the book Always a Catch  By peter Richmond. This book is about a boy named Jack that transfers to a new school. He has no friends there and he doesn't really fit in. One day he saw some boys playing football. He thought about joining football so that he could make some friends. So far he meets some kids that are on the team. the kids are very bad and they are taking steroids and doing other bad things. How far will jack go to fit in?

 I think this book will be good. It is really interesting because this book is about football and I play football. It is hard to put the book down because the boy Jack is faced with difficult decisions and you will want to see how he reacts. I think some people can relate to this because they were faced with hard decisions when switching schools. If you are looking for a cool engaging book about sports that you could possibly relate too, then this is the book for you.

The Life You Imagine Derek Jeter

This week I Read The Life you imagine Derek Jeter. I wanted to read this book because Derek Jeter is one of my favorite players. Also it is Jeters last game this Sunday. The book first talks about his child life. It then goes on to talk about what he did in high school. And finally it goes on to talk about his life in the majors.

This book is a really good book. It talks about all of the struggles that he goes through. This book also teaches you a lot of life lessons. It tells you how hard Derek Jeter worked to get to the major leagues. Over all I think this is a great book and I think more people should read this.

Reading blog 2 The Inventors Secret

I am reading the book the Inventors Secret. This books setting is in Great Britain. It is in the 1700s. The British empire keeps everyone inside Britain and nobody is allowed to escape. These 2 kids Charlotte and her little brother do ru to escape though. The have to rub through the woods without being caught by British forces. The British have these machines that will help track the kids. Will the kids escape though?

I really like this book. It is really engaging and very interesting. It is also really hard to put the book down. The book also teaches you a little bit about what it's was like back in the 1700s even though it is a fiction book. If you like history and you like action stories this is a good book for you.

Patrick Lantry One shot at forever book blog

I read the book One Shot at Forever over the summer. I really liked this book because it was all about baseball. This was a true story and it focused on a small town named Macon. Macon is located on the southern side of Illinois. It then talks about the schools baseball team. The team has a hippy for a coach and a small budget. Then the team plays a lot of games and wins most of them. They then move on to the state tournament where they win the regionals. Next they advance to the state champion ship tournament where they defeat three teams and move on the to final game. In the final game they don't play good and they loose. Even though they lost the final game I thought this was a great book and I highly recommend it



A theme in the book One Shot At Forever  is a small town coming together. This theme was formed when a small towns baseball team made it to the state championship. This was the first time the team made it to the championship. everyone from the town then closed their businesses and farms for the day and went up to the game. The fans supported and cheered for their team. That is how the theme was formed.

This article is about a small town's baseball team. The team has a coach with no experience and who knows nothing about baseball. This team though goes against the odds and makes it to the state finals despite little talent and no coaching.
